Prineville Oregon Running Klub
Come join us!
We meet Tuesdays at the track (6pm), Wednesdays at Ochoco Brewing (6pm), and Sundays at Starbucks (8:30 am and 1:00 pm). Walkers and runners, two-legged and four, are always welcome.
About Our Club
We run and walk to stay physically healthy; we do it together as a club to stay connected to our community and friends. Our running club meets for group runs and track workouts. And we sponsor running and athletic events in Prineville, Oregon.

We help coordinate community runs and races that support local non-profits and running programs in our schools. Whether it’s a 5k road race, a 10k wetlands run, a turkey trot, or a boot-scootin rodeo relay, we invite you to have some fun with the running pig group.
We’re coordinating the inaugural race at the new Crooked River Wetlands Complex. Join us for a 5k/10k race/walk. The proceeds benefit the Crook County Schools Cross Country Program.
The Power of Community
We helped coordinate the 2017 Run Like a Turkey, an annual community run hosted by our dear friends Shelley and the late John Marsh of Dad’s Place.
We raised $3,600 for the elementary school running clubs!
I’m always in the process of talking myself out of a run—it’s been a busy day, I’m tired, it’s raining, the kids need fed. And about that time each week, Chuck or James post a reminder on the Facebook page that gets me out the door. I’m never sorry and treasure my P.O.R.K. run and social time. I feel great afterwards! The kids can eat tomorrow….- anonymous P.O.R.K. mom
